Weekly Parent Update - Friday 28th November

The most exciting event of the week is still to come … our PTA Christmas Fair tomorrow at the Juniors from 1pm - 4pm!
Weekly Update from Mr Meehan
It’s been a busy week at Christ Church! As well as taking part in more sporting events including the District Cup Netball against Castle Hill Primary on Tuesday, Athletics at the Kingston Academy yesterday and the Primary Stars Football Tournament today, our Year 1s have been out and about at the Natural History Museum and our Year 5 and 6 choir were getting festive, as the first school of the season to perform this year at John Lewis in Kingston.
Of course, the most exciting event of the week is still to come … our PTA Christmas Fair tomorrow! Please do come and support our hard-working PTA, and if you can spare an hour or two, there is still time to volunteer to help out at a stall (we still have a few gaps!). The fair starts at 1pm and ends at 4pm, but we are also grateful to those who are setting up in the morning and clearing up after the fair to make it a great team effort - and to really get the Christmas vibe started at school!
Last week, we let you know of the retirement of Ian Duncan, our School Business Manager, next Spring. This post is now being advertised, so if you or someone you know possesses strategic financial and operational management experience, and a passion for excellence in a supportive, community-focused, term-time-only role, please see the full details and application pack on our eTeach page.
In the meantime, hopefully we will see you tomorrow, but whatever you are doing, have a great weekend!
Our School Updates for Parents

We are excited to invite you to our Junior Christmas Production at 4 pm on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th December. The children in Year 3 will be acting and all the junior children will be singing. On the days of the performance, the children do not need to be collected at the normal time, but will stay in the classrooms until the performance begins. All children (including Year 5 and Year 6) will need to be collected at approximately 5.00pm from school. Children for Connect will be walked down to the Infant site, after the performance. The event is free to attend, with an optional donation to our production fund. Please use the form sent via email to reserve tickets for the performance.
Sponsor our Sports Kit
Every time our team takes part in a sports event, they wear our school kit. If you would be interested in sponsoring our team, please get in touch with Mr Duncan in the school office.
